Róza El-Hassan

Born 1966 in Budapest, of Hungarian and Syrian nationality, lives currently in Budapest , in autumn 2017 in Stockholm;

spent childhood  between 1972 and 1984 in Germany, Westfalen, moved 1987 to Budapest  ,

1990 Diplom on the Hungarian University of Fine Arts, Painting Department,

1991 Städelschule, Frankfurt a. M.,

1991-92 Intermédia Department, MKF, Hungarian University of Fine Art

between 1999 and  2010 residency in Syria, Hungary and Switzerland - between 2010 and 2016 residency in Budapest, Berlin (2014) and Basel (2012 and 2016) and architecture research trips toDoha (2014-2016) 

2002 and 2003 Professor at ETH in Zürich – a post-graduate course for scientists and researchers: visualization, social theory and writing on science in publications

2003- 2007 Professor at Intermedia department, MKE, Hungarian University of Fine Arts

2008- 2011 DLA  studies at the Hungarian University of Fine Arts - Thesis on social and ecological design and architecture: Traditional Romani Handcraft  and  Contemporary Design

Since 1992 regular participation in international exhibtions with object art and drawing, research and projects
